HIGHLANDS BASEBALL PLAYER TO SIGN LETTER OF INTENT

             

What:

 

Highlands High School baseball player Drew Rom will sign a letter of intent to further his academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan. The signing will be held at 3:15pm on Friday, November 10, 2017, in the Media Center at Highlands High School.

 

Drew will letter in varsity baseball for three years at HHS.  As a member of the varsity team, he has consistently been one of the top hitters and pitchers each season.  Drew has made an extremely positive impact on the Highlands baseball program.  His dedication on and off the field has given him the reputation of a hard-working, motivated athlete who is a positive influence for current and future Highlands baseball players.

 

"Drew is an exceptional athlete who has excelled in multiple sports at Highlands.  He has earned all-state honors for both baseball and soccer.  Drew has always been a fierce competitor who wants the ball on the biggest stage.  His competitiveness carries over into his off-season regimen as he tirelessly works to perfect his craft.  We are extremely excited for Drew and this opportunity as the University of Michigan is getting a great student-athlete,” said Jeremy Baioni, Highlands High School head baseball coach.

HIGHLANDS BASEBALL PLAYER TO SIGN LETTER OF INTENT

             

What:

 

Highlands High School baseball player Evan Lewin will sign a letter of intent to further his academic and athletic career at Marietta College. The signing will be at 3:15pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in the Media Center at Highlands High School.

 

Evan will letter in varsity baseball for two years at HHS.  Since Evan joined the baseball program at Highlands he has been one of the hardest workers, always looking for ways to improve himself as a player. He has never turned down an opportunity to perform a task and help the team. 

 

“Evan is a great representation of how hard work and dedication to athletics and academics pays off,” said Jeremy Baioni, Highlands High School head baseball coach. “Evan’s perseverance and hard work have earned him the opportunity to play at the college level.  He will be a huge asset for Marietta College.  We are extremely excited and proud of him and his accomplishments as playing college baseball has been a lifelong dream.”
