Duckworth, a 1976 graduate of McAuley High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, worked at Western & Southern Financial Group for six years before leaving to raise her children and become active in the Fort Thomas Independent Schools. Her husband, Tom, a 1971 Highlands High School graduate, is a Data Base Administrator for Western & Southern Financial Group. Lisa and Tom have two children. Their daughter, Laura, is a 2007 graduate of Highlands High School, who attends Northern Kentucky University. Their son, Evan, is a 2011 graduate of Highlands High School, who attends Eastern Kentucky University.
In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, scrapbooking and spending time with her family and friends.
