Senior striker Emerson Holladay put Highlands ahead midway through the second half and the goal held up as the Bluebirds edged Boone County, 1-0 on Tuesday.
Holladay scored off a feed from junior defender Cole Davis-Roberts, which was set up by a free kick.
Sophomore Nick Breslin recorded eight saves to earn the shutout for the Bluebirds, who handed the Rebels their first loss of the season.
