Fashion and Interior Design I is a dynamic class that engages students in application skills and hands on projects. Students will develop basic clothing construction skills and gain a knowledge of the fashion and interior industries. Topics covered in the class include: The Fashion Industry, Elements and Principles of Design, Sewing Machine and Construction, Housing Decisions and Space Planning. Students will construct at least four sewing projects throughout the course of the year.
