Grades 9-10 1 credit
This is a fundamental course that provides a project based learning approach to understanding the principles and concepts of physics and associated mathematics for most Engineering Technology programs. Students explore various careers and disciplines of engineering areas, problem solving and core technology such as, but not limited to; manufacturing, power/energy/transportation, robotics, hydraulics, electricity/electronics, communications, construction systems, alternative energy and computer aided design. You will be working with a variety of tools, power tools and software in this class. You will problem solve, design, build CO2 cars, model rockets, and learn basic engineering principles in the lab.
