2009-2010 St. Elizabeth Hospital Paintings

Read to learn more about the great impact of Johnson Elementary students' artwork at St. Elizabeth Hospital! The article below is taken directly from the St. Elizabeth website, and although the sale of the pieces is complete, you can still visit the link below to see the images that had been on display during the Spring and Summer of 2010.

Ft. Thomas Artwork Sale
This summer, Johnson Elementary students and Highlands High School advanced art students gave a gift of art to St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. The art exhibit was displayed in the hospital’s main lobby with additional pieces in the Cancer Treatment Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. Art teachers Jennifer Flynn and Andrew Eckerle invited students to share their artistic abilities through paintings that convey hope, life, calm and community.

There was an official “unveiling ceremony” in June where Senior Vice President and COO Tom Saalfeld presented the schools with a plaque and expressed his appreciation. Building on the theme ‘Better Together: Art & Community,’ the art exhibit was a great way to reach out to patients, family members, and visitors in a very bright and positive way.

We are now selling these art pieces with donations to benefit St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. A minimum donation of $25 per piece is suggested.
To view the artwork, please click here. The pieces are numbered. If you are interested in purchasing a piece of art, call the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation at (859) 301-3920 with the artwork number you are wishing to purchase. Please contact us with your purchase requests by October 29, 2010. Thanks once again to the students of Ft. Thomas for their dedication to the community.
