I will update soon... this will help.
We will be leaving HHS at 8:30am. All runners on the top 10 are to ride the bus. The bus will stay and return. We will also stop and eat on the way back. I will be giving the runners some cash to use for the meal, and they are responsible for anything on top of that. This is for top 10 only. Others traveling with us will need to pay to get into the meet and also for lunch.
Our race is AA
Please make sure you are wearing HHS gear before and after the race.
No dogs are allow to be at the state meet.
Please remind your parents that the campground is the only part of the KHP where spending the night is allowed. Admission gates will open at 8:00 a.m. with tickets available for $10, with kids 10-and-under admitted free. Fans are reminded that re-entry is not permitted. The Kentucky Horse Park will be charging a $5 parking fee per car upon entry into the park. Finally, please make sure that fans are aware that pets are not permitted at the Kentucky Horse Park in the area past the admission gate.
Lane Assignments: OUR GOAL IS TO GET ON THE PODIUM FOR THE TEAM AWARDS. THAT WOULD MEAN US PLACING 4TH IN A VERY COMPETITIVE RACE. THERE ARE 4-5 TEAMS VYING FOR THAT SPOT, AND WE INTEND TO TAKE IT.
Boys - Box 23
Teams to look out for: Boyd (32) Russell (30) Boyle (38)
Girls - Box 25: OUR GOAL IS TO WIN THE STATE TITLE. WE HAVE THE TARGET ON OUR BACKS, AND IT IS SOMETHING WE NEED TO WANT DEEP DOWN... THE TEAMS BELOW ARE WHO WE NEED TO WORRY ABOUT.
Teams to look out for: Blazer (16) CAL (15) Bourbon (18) - THEY WILL BOTH GO OUT HARD
we will stop to eat in Georgetown after the race at around 2pm. We will again go to Mi Mexico since they have enough space. Athletes will have a $13 limit. Anything over that will need to be given to coach Alessandro since he covers the bill.
