Hello! My name is Deborah Schrader Johnston. I grew up in Fort Thomas, KY until moving on to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at Morehead State University. After college, I began my teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher, and then moved on to 1st and kindergarten. After 7 years of teaching, I became a stay-at-home mom for 16 years as I raised my two children: Adam and Jessica. When it was time to get back into teaching, I went to Northern Kentucky University to earn my Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist. I was very excited to join the Woodfill Family! In addition to being a proud Woodfill teacher, I also enjoy being a co-sponsor of our Student Council Program with Mrs. Michelle LaMantia.
I’m very pleased with the awesome group of students and wonderful parents that I have this year! We have a lot of exciting things planned, and I can’t wait to see what the year brings!
