Lori Duncan is currently in her 15th year of teaching in the Fort Thomas Independent school district. At the middle school level Mrs. Duncan leads the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands. At the high school level she conducts the concert band, jazz band, marching band, and pep band. She enjoys coordinating the Highlands winter guard and winter percussion.
During her time at Highlands the middle school and high school bands have received distinguished ratings at the Northern Kentucky concert band festival. The HHS marching band has appeared in the state championships nine times. The jazz ensemble has performed in several festivals throughout the tristate area. Several of Mrs. Duncan's students have been selected to perform in elite honor bands in the area and around the state.
Lori Duncan received her Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Kentucky with an emphasis in clarinet performance. She received her Masters in Gifted and Talented Education and her Rank I in Administration from Northern Kentucky University.
Mrs. Duncan resides with her husband Brian, and daughter Olivia, in Independence, KY.
