My name is Megan Grainger. I am the Speech and Language Pathologist servicing Kindergarten through 5th grade at both Woodfill and Johnson . I have both a Bachelors of Science and Masters of the Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders (the study of Speech pathology) from the University of Cincinnati. I graduated in 2008 with my Master's, completed my Clinical Fellowship for my certification in 2009. I became certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association in 2009 and hold my Kentucky license to practice Speech Pathology. I completed the KTIP program as well and now maintain a KY teaching certificate. This is my 9th year teaching and my fifth year with Fort Thomas Independent Schools.
I grew up in Fort Thomas, KY and am proud to be a Highlands High School Alumni. I was married in 2010. In 2011 we welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world and in 2014 our little boy brought a whole new excitement to our lives. We love spending time together, we frequently visit the zoo, take walks and enjoyed lots of time at the pool this summer. As my children continue to grow up, they keep us quite busy at home but we wouldn't change it for the world!
I can be found at Woodfill Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I spend my Tuesday mornings at HMS and I can be found at Johnson on Tuesday afternoons and all day on Thursdays. I can always be reached through my email. I check it frequently and try to respond within 24 hours through the week and 48 hours on the weekend. You can reach me on my office phone also. Don't hesitate to contact me!
We are going to make it a great year!!
