Bachelor of Music Education (Choral Emphasis): Ohio University - Athens, OH
Master of Music Performance (Choral Conducting): Ohio University - Athens, OH
As a graduate student at Ohio University, I was appointed director of the Ohio University Women's Chorale and Associate Conductor of the Singing Men of Ohio and University Singers. After graduating from Ohio University the second time, I taught for the last four years at Plain Local Schools in Canton, OH where I was the middle school choir director. I was responsible for 7 choirs in the 7th & 8th grades, and responsible for 350+ students in those choirs combined! I also have been choir director at various churches throughout my life.
Other than music, I enjoy performing/watching Musical Theatre and other stage productions. I follow my teams with blind passion especially my alma mater - The Ohio University Bobcats, and the Cincinnati Reds. When I am done being a teacher for the day, I love being at home with my wife and kids, Cecilia (3 yrs), James (15 months) and Augustine (3 weeks!).
