I work as a counselor for grades 9-12, last names A-G. I enjoy serving as a support for students at Highlands High School as they work on academic, social/emotional, and college/career topics, continuing their growth and beginning to make post-secondary plans.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in English and Secondary Education from Union College and my Master of Education degree and Rank I in School Counseling from Xavier University.
I began working at Highlands High School in 2002. During my tenure, I have taught English I, Pre-AP English I Advanced, English III, English III Advanced, English IV, Study Skills, and Creative Writing. Prior to my time at Highlands High School, I worked at Nicholas County High School in Carlisle, Kentucky.
