I am excited to be a Bluebird at Highlands High School teaching Advance Physics and Chemistry. I am starting my twenty-third year in education. I have served Henderson County Schools as Director of Secondary Education and Assistant Superintendent. After briefly taking an assignment outside the district as the principal at Union County High School, I returned to the classroom in Henderson and served as the science department chair. Previously, I worked for the Kentucky Department of Education with the Highly Skilled Educator (HSE) Program for two years. I started my career in the Graves County school district as a high school science teacher and as director of Gateway Academy High School. I have a Bachelor of Science and two Masters in teaching and administration.
